BASIC DOUGH FOR BISCUITS OR CINNAMON
ROLLS
 

2 1/4 c. milk
3/4 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter
3 eggs, beaten
2 env. dry yeast
1/4 c. lukewarm water
7 to 9 c. flour

Warm in pan on stove, milk, sugar, salt and butter until butter melts. Cool to lukewarm. Dissolve yeast in 1/4 cup lukewarm water. In large bowl add eggs and yeast to milk mixture. Add flour slowly, beat well and knead until dough is smooth and shiny. Put in greased bowl in warm place and cover. Let rise until double in size. Can be made into biscuits or cinnamon rolls. Bake either 15 to 20 minutes in 375 degree oven. Can be doubled.
