4 pkgs. yeast 1 c. warm water 1 1/2 c. milk 1/2 c. sugar 2 tsp. salt 2/3 c. Crisco oil 9 c. flour 4 eggs GLAZE: 1 to 1 1/2 boxes confectioners' sugar 1/2 tbsp. vanilla 1/4 c. hot water Mix yeast, warm water, milk, sugar, salt, oil and eggs. Add flour, knead well. Let rise in pan for 1 hour. Punch down and let rise for 1 hour. Roll out, cut out. Then fry in Crisco oil. |
