VERY MOIST BANANA BREAD
 

1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 lg. ripe bananas, mashed
1/3 c. sour cream
Pinch of salt
2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
Brown sugar

Cream shortening and sugar; add beaten eggs and mashed bananas. Stir in sour cream. Sift flour, salt, and soda together and add to mixture.

Pour into greased and floured 9 x 5 loaf pan. Sprinkle brown sugar on top. Bake in 325 degree oven for 1 hour or until done.
