1 1/2 c. raisins
1 1/2 c. water
Boil and cool. 1 tbsp. butter 1 egg 1 tsp. vanilla
Cream together.
Add (sifted) : 2 tsp. baking soda 2 3/4 c. flour
Boil and cool raisins and water.
Cream together sugar, butter, egg and vanilla.
Sift together salt, soda and flour and add to mixture. Add raisins and water. Fill 3 (#2) cans 2/3 full. Bake for 35-40 minutes at 350 degrees.
