1 c. liquid smoke 1/2 c. 57 Steak sauce 2 tbsp. celery salt 1 tbsp. garlic powder 1 tsp. black powder (pepper) 6-7 lb. brisket 1 lg. crock pot Take brisket and open where it is slices, rub celery salt, garlic powder, and black powder (pepper) inside brisket. Pour a small amount of the liquid smoke and steak sauce inside. Roll brisket and stand on end in crock pot. Pour the remaining liquid over the meat, rinse you cup with 1/4 water and pour this over the meat also. Cook on high for approximately 1 hour, then turn to low for 5-6 hours depending on the size of brisket. |
