BOILED DINNER
 

1 corned beef brisket (3 lb.)
8-10 potatoes, peeled
10-12 carrots, peeled
1 head cabbage, cut 4-6" wedges

Takes approximately 6 hours. Serves approximately 8 people. Fill 8 quart pot half full with water. Put beef and seasoning that come with it; bring to boil. Simmer all day until tender. Slice potatoes in half and carrots lengthwise in 1/2 or 1/4. Taste water, if too salty pour some out and add fresh water. Put vegetables in cabbage on top. Boil until vegetables are done. Cover throughout cooking process.
