4 to 5 slices white bread, quartered 8 to 9 slices cheddar cheese, I like shredded sharp Cracker Barrel 8 to 9 slices bacon, cooked & crumbled SAUCE: 2 1/2 c. milk 6 eggs 1/4 c. chopped onions Grease casserole and arrange bread to cover bottom, layer crumbled bacon, cheese and onions. Pour sauce over all and let set in refrigerator for 24 hours (A MUST). Bake uncovered in a 350 degree oven for 50 to 60 minutes. Freezes and warms well. |
